A painting about resistance - resistance to moving forward, resistance to being helped. The resistant one is gently pushed along by the other, but it’s a delicate operation - there’s always the chance that they’ll push too hard and the resistant one will dig in their heels and refuse to go any further.

Acrylic on cradled wooden panel, presented in a bespoke oak frame.

51cm x 51cm (20” x 20”) painting size, 55cm x 55cm including frame.

Gloss varnished and fitted with hanging hardware.

If you live locally to me in the Nottingham area you’re welcome to visit my home studio and see my work in the flesh. I know it’s so much better to be able to see a piece of work in real life when you’re considering a purchase! If you’re trying to decide between two pieces and live nearby, we can arrange for you to try them out at home - I don’t have transport, however, so you’d have to have some! Talk to me :)

Interest-free payment plans

If paying all at once feels a bit undoable, we can arrange an informal payment plan to suit you. The only stipulations are that you’d need to pay a non-refundable deposit of between 20% and 50% (depending on the price of the painting) and would need to pay the full amount within 6 months max (less for lower-priced pieces). Once you’ve made the final payment, I’ll send/deliver/have you collect the painting. Again, talk to me :)
