I’ve been a practising artist for most of my adult life. Until very recently I was illustrating and publishing greeting cards, making digital prints and producing illustrated gifts. I began this phase of my creative journey in 2009 when I bought a graphics tablet. Prior to this I had a successful 14 year career as a textile artist. Answering an increasing desire to work with traditional materials once more I have over the past year been focusing solely on painting.
My greeting cards are still out there in the world - Really Good UK now license my designs and you can buy them online along with a small selection of mugs and coasters. They also distribute nationally and internationally, so you may well stumble upon my cards in shops around the UK and abroad. They’re sold under the brand name ‘Stuff & Nonsense’. Cherrydidi sell my cards online and in their two shops in the Lake District (Ambleside and Keswick). Online card shop The Curious Pancake and the print-on-demand site Thortful also have a selection of my cards available.
